MRI Study

An extremity MRI can be used for diagnosis of foot and ankle problems without the need for placing the entire body into a noisy and claustrophobic machine.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays allow for manipulation of the film to get perfect pictures. A dramatic decrease in radiation is also a positive. Films can also be sent via e-mail or on CD to referring doctors.

Diagnostic Ultrasound

Diagnostic ultrasound is an excellent test for soft tissue, tendon and ligament studies. The increased benefit of ultrasound is that the foot can be moved during testing and also its low cost for rapid diagnosis of tendon and ligament ailments.

Vascular Testing

Non-invasive vascular testing allows for a non-painful and accurate initial test in the treatment of peripheral vascular problems. Prior to surgical work on high risk patients and diabetic patients, the circulation is check to assure adequate healing potential.
